Governor’s Capitol Art Exhibition on display now

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – The Governor’s Capitol Art Exhibition is a bi-annual display, highlighting contemporary artists all across Wyoming.

The exhibit is organized by the Wyoming State Museum and Wyoming Arts Council.

This year 50 works by 46 different artists are featured in the Wyoming state capitol extension.

All the pieces on display are also for sale, and can be purchased by scanning a QR code.

“This exhibit is really great because it does reflect artists from all over the state, every corner of the state is represented here. In fact over 46 artists have pieces in the show today and its a great way to bring all that together, people can kinda see what artists are making you know right now in 2024 in Wyoming,” said Kevin Ramler, Museum Director at the Wyoming State Museum.

The exhibit is open at the Capitol Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm through August 10th.
